Our Mission

Small Company Development

To assist companies with the creation of innovative products and marketing programs. We focus on small companies, often prior to raising their first round of capital.  We can demonstrate various non-traditional methods for raising capital that limit dilution.

Due Diligence

We can also serve the investment community in helping to evaluate business and marketing strategies at both the technical level as well as strategies for market development.  Our substantial experience in system design of both hardware and software, IC development and channel development enables us to effectively evaluate both product and business plans.

Imaging Industry

We have extensive industry knowledge in the imaging business.  This ranges from medical imaging to consumer imaging.  We are knowledgeable at both the technical and algorithmic level as well as the market development and industry trend level.

Business Seminars on Entrepreneurial Marketing

Mr. Caspe has created several seminars which are based upon his graduate course "Marketing for Entrepreneurs" and are focused on helping companies with the development of entrepreneurial marketing programs for new products.  These seminars are available either at Babson's business center or at the customer's site.  The following are a list of the currently available seminars:

  • Consumer Product Marketing (3 days) - this seminar focuses upon the issues involved in selecting a channel strategy for consumer oriented products.  It looks at the financial structures and difficulties associated with various channels including: retail, direct marketing and direct selling (multi-tier selling). It starts by evaluating the value proposition and looks at values that can be offered to the channel to stimulate sales.
  • OEM and B2B Strategies (3 days) - this seminar focuses upon the creation of channel strategies where the customers are primarily other companies.  It covers the specifics of contract alternatives, lead generation and selling techniques.

The seminars are a combination of lecture, reading and workshop that focuses upon the specific product needs of the client's organization.  Because of the need for the attendees to do a considerable amount of specifically directed research relating to the channel selections that are available and the value proposition, these seminars are best structured as consisting of three separate days, once per week.

Educational Seminars on Entrepreneurial Marketing

Mr. Caspe also offers intensive tracks of his Babson course "Marketing for Entrepreneurs" which can be taught in one week at a university.  It is primarily aimed at graduate students who have product or business plans in mind for which they are seeking to develop channel strategies.  Class sizes are limited to 30 students who must divide themselves into no more than six business teams of five persons each.  The course combines approximately 20 hours of lecture and directed reading with 20 hours of team directed research and plan development.

This seminar might also be a good fit to a venture fund along with some of their entrepreneurs.

The Caspe Group has a skilled group of engineers who are well versed in a number of technical disciplines including: digital imaging, embedded design, communications and server software development.
